Based on the Poem Howl by Allen Ginsberg, these photographs capture the inevitable madness of youth “knowing too much”. A total disconnection with reality. These photographs have four supplemental pieces of an exposed photograph with text from the poem used to support the concept of the narrative. All of these are taken with a Nikon F2, Tri-x 400 Film & Illford HP4+, & an assortment of wide-angle & macro lenses. All images were developed by hand in a darkroom.
This was my final project for Photography One at Columbia College Chicago.
